Did anybody do any of the side quest in the game? I had a hard time trying to initiate Judith spear search, i didn't know where to begin.

How do I unlock the 100 man melee? I don't know where to get those three letters or whatever to get all the rewards. I initiated that sequence with Nan and then the orphanage at Torim, but can't find the little girls (is that even related?)

For Gauche and Droite you'll need to go to Ehmead Hill - enter from the west side and take the first right into the little open area with a bunch of chests for an event. After that, head to Mt. Temza for an event at the entrance. Since you've seen the Torim orphanage event, you should be able to go straight to Zaude and meet them in the same place you killed Yeager. Take Repede into the battle so he can steal two unique swords for Estelle.

Not sure if you've gotten the other two, but Flynn should have already given you one if you're at the end of the game. The other one is from the Hunting Blades - enter Keiv Moc for an event.

So I'm pretty wildly disappointed in this game for all the things you can miss. Not being able to do the extra dungeon due to missing a trigger pre-finish is total bullshit. 200 man melee, costumes, whatever, I can live with those being locked out. But the final dungeon? I was thinking to start a new game+ but when I did, it froze at the intro (no dashboard or anything available) so that was my sign to say fuck it.

The BradyGames guide actually claims you can't unlock that dungeon on the first playthrough, heh.

I don't have anything else to play so now I'm weighing if it's worth it to do a new game+. I'd need to collect some more grade first, since I'm a few hundred shy of what I want (skills+artes). Might be a big waste of time though, is the extra dungeon even any fun?

Not really, no. You also have to go through it multiple times before you can access the last boss.

I should probably find something else to play then, a second go doesn't really seem worth it just to do the 200-man melee with Yuri and get frustrated in a large dungeon. They should have just made it accessible at the end of the game...

Honestly. Is that why? I collected all the Fell Arms well before meeting Duke and there was no third form whatsoever. That's a shame about the multiple plays to just get 100%.

I might play other things and get back to this, since it really was great. I'm just not sure whether I would be up to playing it a 2nd time immediately.
