I think, if we were to go back in time to Capcom's studios at the time and be total liars, you'd find that Street Fighter III was actually created by tracing 3D elements from Street Fighter EX assets.

The thing about 3S is that it's not really that great of a game until you achieve high level status, then it is the best fighting game ever made.

I dunno about that. It's true that the game doesn't become enjoyable until you get to high-level play and can start abusing alot each characters' unique abilities but to say it makes it the best fighter ever is a bit of an overstatement. MvC2 plays much better in high level play. A3 is a mindfuck at high level. CvS2 is terrible.

Makes me laugh but anyway, fighting game fun is subjective. If you suck at fighters, playing a technical game like 3S or VF won't be fun, you want something easily accessible and provides spectacular results for mashing. If you're a fighting vet like me, you want balance and a game system with more depth than what we had in the 90s. High level 3S can be fun but ultimately frustrating compared to VF as you have pared the game down to basically 3 characters with limited guesses but I don't expect anyone to really understand the comparison.

And i do see your Point. 3S Tourny play seems to be a rock paper scissors game of Ken,Chun Li, and Yun(or yang cant remember, the hat one).
