Thread: Super Ultra Street Fighter 4 Turbo Alpha Gold Championship Edition'

  1. I have a ton of fun playing 3S at "scrub" level. I know that's a time paradox and everything, but it is true.

I can still play a decent trap game that wins a good % of the time versus other "normal humans".

Sounds like a remix of an RJD2 track.

  4. Like I said, two clicks and you'd have the answer.

    I'm a lazy man.

    (I only clicked once.)

  6. I'm pretty scrubby in 3S, but it's still damn fun. Yun just has one of the best movesets ever in a 2D fighter, its fun to figure how to use him against different characters.

I look at it the opposite way. I had moderate interest in it until I started to watch it being played at high level. Watching the finals for it literally put me to sleep, I couldn't care even a little.

Before that was the ST finals. They were just fun to watch. Additionally, everyone knew what was going on, so it was great for spectators. I mean, I mostly understood what was going on in 3S, but I knew everything that was going on in ST, not from playing, just from the simplicity of it all.

Guilty Gear is still awesome, but it has the same issues as VF, extremely high entrance bar before you can actually play the game, so its not really in the same area as the Street Fighters.

Don't you think that you know what's going on because you grew up on SF? If someone started playing fighters from VF or Tekken, I doubt that SF would seem intuitive. Just like anything else, you have to put time in to get accustomed to it. I remember when people started playing SFII back in 91, no one thought QCF was intuitive.

So very true. QCF was so weird to learn back in the day. I remember starting off doing it so slow and not understanding why shit didnt work. It was so rewarding once I got it down though.

Also, what version on Vf do you think is the pinnacle of the series ? VF4 Final Tuned or whatever ?

  10. VF5 is the pinnacle of the series.

But Honestly, 3 and 4 were really good too.

I wish I was at home, with my new monitor, playing VF5.
