So SFIV is going to cost close to 24K dollars for the arcade cabinet.
L O fucking L capcom.
This is what's killing arcades in Japan, overly expensive cabinets, and constant revisions that cost just as much. The game would have be played constantly for 6 months to break even on 1 cabinet.

If I'm not mistaken, Upper was exactly like the DC home version. I highly doubt it was released in arcades but we've had that version for a long time already. Also, Dee Jay top tier woot.

I've seen Alpha 3 cabs quite a few times. I remember being pissed off that places that used to have a bunch of Alpha 2 cabs had switched them to Alpha 3.

They need to just get back to basics, get the price down to like $5000. CRT monitors are supposedly what tourney players prefer anyway.
