Has anyone tried to break down the mechanics of the EX series versus the mechanics on SF4? Because if memory serves me (and it might not) SFEX had some odd things that made it play a lot differently from the SF series. Side Stepping?
For one SFVI is 2D plane with 3D graphics. SFEX series was fully 3D. The plane and the graphics.
SFEX series had cancels and super cancels, which were then brought over to the SF3 series. You could do your regular super and cancel that and go right into a Super Combo.
Guard Breaks and Excel Combos were also part of the gameplay mechanic.
