Sammy Morris carrying the full load in the first half of the season kept him fresh for the playoffs.

They played Morris so much because Maroney was a dancer who waited to long to hit the seam. I agree he is fresh, but his style the last month+ is much more agressive than it had been in the last year and a half before. He has improved a lot.
