Watching Favre play quarterback is like watching Jeter play short stop. Everyone loves it, but it looks more impressive than it is.

I see two mediocre years total, wtf is your issue? Average NFL qb is at 72 qb rating.

  3. You know the last person to have the best year of his career at 38? Barry Bonds. Then theres that guy named Clemens. I know Favre has always had the cannon, I just have to wonder sometimes. Maybe they invented a steroid that he can inject into his ass that gives his team a running game and receivers who catch.

  4. LOL

I'm not even saying you have to win rings to be the best. Marino is certainly also one of the best ever. They do enforce the argument however. You can't kill your team though, and Favre has done that as many years (more imo) as he's helped them.

You really can't be this stupid.

Favre had fucking terrible teams throughout the years, terrible. Yes, he's a gambler, and yes he makes some silly plays, but more often then not he's winning the game, as witnessed by his amazing number of 4th quarter comebacks.

    More with less imo

I said he was good for a really long time. He's just not great.

Then I guess it's your opinion vs EVERYBODY WHO EVER WAS INVOLVED IN THE GAME. Including Marino, Etc.

30-5 (career) in games decided by 3 points or fewer
84-1 (regular season) when the Patriots have a lead at any time in the fourth quarter[31]
28 game-winning drives after a Patriots' fourth-quarter tie or deficit

I gaurentee the second column for Favre looks nothing like that

1/2 of Favre's career was before the salary cap, remember that.

Brady is a great player and the best QB in the game today, including Favre. All i'm saying is that Favre is one of the top 5 ever to play the game.
