Anyway, I think that if you had paid more attention to football between 01 and 04 you'd have more respect for what the Pats have done, and continue to do. Your opinion is tainted by all the bandwagon haters that crop up when teams continue to win. The Pats never had more talent than the other teams till this year.
Like I said, they're more the bully's, the team to beat, and the unbeatable, and since I'm not a fan of them, it means I'd like to see them fall. Plus there are Youtube videos of the situations such as Biff cited where Wilcock stepped on the back leg of Jamal Lewis two plays in a row, resulting in his injury. As well as the many push offs by Randy Moss that don't get called. It's a whole bunch of factors, but I've read what I could about 2001 when they won, and honestly I can't believe they gave Tom Brady the MVP for just not screwing up that game, less than 150 yards and one touchdowns or interceptions and they gave him the MVP? I guess since you can't give the Defense the MVP it kind of makes sense.

  2. He was due to replace Bledsoe eventually anyway. He was moved from 3rd starter to 2nd starter that year and Rohan Davey or whoever it was got bumped back.

Being good at the draft /= getting lucky with top 10 picks every year for a few years.

  3. They knew enough to leave him as the starter instead of putting Bledsoe back in after he recovered. Brady had also gone from 4th stringer to second stringer within a year.

But yet there's no luck involved at the bottom end of the draft?

  5. Yeah I read that, he went from 4th string to 2nd string, and then next year replaced Bledsoe when he suffered internal bleeding (lol). But 199th kinda really discourages the idea they thought he would be much good. Honestly though I have yet to pay much attention to a draft, I know I will be paying a good deal of attention to it next year.

Yeah, and I support them for that, Bledsoe isn't that good. Brady's definitely above and beyond better than him, I'm kinda surprised they didn't figure out that until that game.

The only thing that matters in the next draft is where Chris Long goes imo.

He is personally responsible for UMD's loss to UVA this year.

  7. Chris long is a fucking beast!!!!!!!

  8. Actually you know what?

You're holding a draft party next year Biff.

Trust me, I know. I'm in the ACC. I'm almost glad he's out. Dude is a fucking monster and one of the best college DEs I've ever seen.

It goes without say he won the Hendricks Award.

Of course there is, but the better you are at a draft the less you get burned by it.

The core of the Colts team, the three I listed plus Freeney (11th overall pick) really kept them successful all those years.

The entire Pats team was made of up of low draft picks. Troy Brown was 198th overall
