If I were to upgrade to an Elite with a larger HD, how do I transfer XBL games and GS from the 20 HD to the new HD?

Don't they make a 360 transfer cable? Your Gamerscore should be tied to your account. So assuming you recover that successfully, there shouldn't be an issue there.

An Elite is $200 more than a core for a bigger HD, an HDMI port/cable, and the fact that it's black? Am I reading that right?

And realistically even the cores have HDMI ports now so whats a $4 cable from monoprice? Unless the cores get a wired controller the only bonus is it being black and bigger. see what I did there?

There's been a lot of debate about the difference between the 60gig machine and Elite as well since $100 only gets you the HDMI cable and a bigger HDD. The Elite needs a revamp to live up to it's name.
