I care too.
Obviously that isn't true, because I care.

I care too.
it's inverted because it's a metaphor
the more achievements you do, the emptier the bar gets which signifies how empty your life becomes when you just play video games for achievement points
But it starts out empty...so really cool people get one achievement and then rock out with their awesome lives
0/0 is 100% complete. It's a dumb colour scheme but consistent. Unless that's just a poorly picked example on your part, and games that actually have achievements and points show up as all black when you first get them.
Shidoshi's example is fucked because he's using one of the few "games" that doesn't adhere to the normal rules. Halo Waypoint (like PlayOnline) has no achievements, and thus appears as 0/0 and is colored as full. Go to xbox.com and compare game achievements to double-check that.
Check with an actual new game that actually has achievements and then see how it looks.
I know Waypoint doesn't have achievements, but the point I was making in that second part was that graphically you're seeing a full bar, but the text tells you it's a totally empty one. They should have a different visual bar (or no bar at all) for games where no score at all can be earned.
And either way, the bigger crime against logic is the look of the bars period. Every time I look at the memory management screen in the new dashboard my brain has to stop thinking rationally in order for the bars to make sense.
