Are you talking about d-pads at all? I think they get better as you bust 'em in.
Kinda like shaving the d-pad well, only on a smaller scale.

The whole controller feels cheap to me. In fairness, I treat my controller very well, and the slim's controller could have been about half worn out from little bastards who don't take care of their shit.
