I thought rep meant shit and was just a way to help players stay away from those they avoided and let others know they are dicks. There is another system where you can actually file a complaint about cheating, indecent exposure, etc. I'm sure this complaint system, rather than the rep system is what causes bans. otherwise, what's the point of having them both?

if he was reported for cheating, then they ESPECIALLY need to investigate that. The point still stands, user rep and user input should not dictate bans, there needs to be a client side observation system to decide that.

I called and bitched. They cant do shit since the system is all automated.
A bunch of people did probably just get pissed at me and gave me bad feedback. The guy on the phone said I need to get my friends to give me good feedback to balance it out. I told him that was fucking stupid. I said the automated ban hammer system is fucking flawed since that basically means that if I report a annoying little bastard his friends can just counter my vote with good feedback. So even though I play nice and destroy a bunch of sore losers I get banned for it and they can go on being dickheads as long as their friends give them good feedback. The guy on the phone didnt know what to say after that and just talked in circles saying how good the ban hammer system is even though I just proved to him how fucking gay it is.

So I just get to take it in the ass for doing nothing. See you guys back online on Saturday I guess.

what in the hell. Well, thats some serious bullshit. Like Cap, I just thought rep was for dictating what type of player the person was. Not evidence for a ban from XBL.

I have to do a title update pretty much every time I play a game. WTF is up with that?

You need to clear the HDD's cache. it's pretty easy to do.

To perform the function, access 'memory' in the system blade, and then highlight the hard drive. Now press: Y, X, X, LB, RB, X, X. The following message should appear: "Do you want to perform maintenance on your Xbox 360 storage devices?" If you initiate maintenance, the hard drive's cache will be cleared, including all software updates.

All it does is clear the cache and remove title updates, so you will have to re-download a the latest update for every game that requires it, but its better to just have to do it once then do it every time you play the game.
