You misunderstand my motivation. I personally want the best version of everything. There are others on this board that do as well. I wish more people did, because it would force developers to actually give a shit and not cater to the lowest common denominator. It's no more complicated than that.
If everyone thought McDonald's burgers were "good enough," no one would go to The Owl, which would be terrible. The same applies to games.
