QFT. I found a D-Link DGL-3420 for $60 on ebay almost 2 years ago, it has worked perfectly since I got it. It seems like their current "gaming adapter" is much cheaper than the DGL-3420, but I can't speak about the quality of it.

Just saw some new screens for the Square Enix game Infinite Undiscovery, looks pretty sweet. 360 is slowly gaining a library of quality rpgs.

Not only that, but they're doing a lot of things I like the sounds of, but which will also piss off some of the "old-school" JRPG folks. Game plays more like a MMO, where even in menus and whatnot the game is still active, and there's absolutely no warping to a special area for combat when you get into a fight - it all takes place on the world map, similar to FFXII.

It's also going to have some stealth stuff, allowing you to sneak past or get away from said creatures - something I've been wanted to see tried for years.

so my 360 now DRE's after 5 minutes of playing GTA4. And leaves little scratches on the disc.

The dvd-drive has been kind of shitty since I got it (DREs every once in a while in Gears, scratched my Vegas 2 disc so it would DRE every time I got to a point, and now this). But it seems to be pretty much gone at least when playing GTA.

I'm probably going to just buy a new Falcon and hope for the best, and try my best to get this old POS to red ring.

Now if I swap out the old HD into the new unit, will I be stuck with that bullshit where I can't access stuff I've downloaded from Live unless I'm connected? Because that sure will suck if I want to play Rock Band at a friends house or something.

I think Nash is incorrect. I swapped out my old drive when I replaced mine and never had any problems. I think maybe if you keep the new drive and redownload stuff you've previously purchased, you have to be connected to access it.

People have been much more successful getting customer service to transfer the licenses lately.
