the hdmi port on my 360 has stopped working, and I don't know why. i do know i'm not in the mood to purchase yet another one, so component will have to do for now.

actually i rocked vga until i got a tv worth talking about. i technically still could but i'm not in the mood to be doing that. basically my 360 appears well on its way to i don't give a fuck status.
VGA was nice and all but I preferred playing on my 50" TV with component over a 17" 4x3 monitor to get VGA.

my 40 inch has a vga input, so like i said i could. but it would be awkward, and i'd have to dig up an optical cable to get decent audio. this just happened so i might still do it. just really irritating. i'm reading up on this, seeing if it was because i plugged it into a second 1080i source when the 360 defaults to 1080p, which is what my tv is usually set to. but that wasn't it. there's another theory out there about ground loops or some shit, so i'm leaving the system unplugged for a while and then plugging both the 360 and my tv into the same outlet. and if that doesn't work i'll decide if i'm gonna go component or vga.
