Gaming is better than ever. Plenty of good games. But the gimmicks suck.
Why do you hate "innovation"
Since the 360 pad, every single new input device I have used is mediocre at best.
My 360 uses a damn controller. No motion, tablet or touch bullshit, because I choose not to use those features.
However, glass was awesome during the debates. I liked the polls and the direct links to the topic being discussed. That's what I was hoping Glass would be; something interactive you can choose use while watching movies or whatever. I haven't played a football game since John Elway's joint (reverse play) but it seems like it'd be useful for selecting plays and such.
This. I don't need games built around it, but just the added functionality I can chose to use if I want. I don't to be switching back and forth between a controller and tablet, but it would be cool if it is something that can be used quickly with simple tap rather than pausing and pulling up menus. There are a lot of cool things you could do with a tablet sitting right next to you or propped on table in front of you. The problem is getting past the lag.
