Fox is such shit.
Fox is such shit.
raptureready is awesome right now:
I am very concerned
about what might happen to this country. Lord Jesus plz take us away.......
I'm sitting here in shock. I thought for sure that McCain would somehow miraculously win.
Will America no longer stand beside Israel? And what will this "international crisis" be that Biden guarantees?
And what is wrong with America? Do we now just turn a blind eye to people who have anti-American sentiments and trust them as our leaders?
i am secretly terrified. I know that God is long suffering but this election has been a complete slap in the face to our Lord.
I can only imagine what awaits America..
I'm so sick...my heart...God help us!! Please, come and get us!!
Win.
I want to thank everyone for contributing to this thread. For the last time I get to say:
In order to not become a completely sore winner, I've decided to take the break from TNL with biff. I'll keep up PMs and participate in the christmas exchange, but other than that, I won't be posting or logging in much.
I'll see you guys all next year. But before you leave this thread, be sure to rep this man, and rep him hard.
Adios,
Doc

Goddamn, black president and blue Virginia. Didn't see that one coming a few years ago.
Somehow out of all the election coverage I found Fox least annoying. CNN had those fucking holograms and MSNBC was just a goddamn gushfest. Sure, Fox had their typical Rovey obnoxious jerks, but fuck it, I like Britt Hume. I feel like he drinks whiskey out of a coffee cup.
McCain's speech was fantastic, if only he had just been himself this election rather than trying to do what he thought would get him the position thing, I think, would have gone a lot differently. Still, he ran a horrible campaign, so this is what he gets.
While I'm disappointed that my candidate lost, I have to say I'm feeling immense pride about our country electing a black president. McCain's speech was vintage McCain; classy, country-first bipartisanship. Barack Obama is my president now and I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt.
He really did run a shit campaign, but, I have to say, when the inevitable tell all book about his campaign comes out, it's going to be fascinating to see what they were really thinking.
Some of the things they came up with (his campaign) were just out there.
