Reading the rest of this newsweek article gives some great insights into the public and private personae of the candidates. There really is a way in which Obama is a very detached, calculated, somewhat grandiose quality to him. He seems to float above whatever he's embroiled in with calculated, soaring rhetoric, and even privately he's very distant and hard to read. This may not necessarily make him likable in the way Bill Clinton or G Dubs appealed to ordinary folks, but what better skill could a president have? He's steely, unflappable, and knows how to keep from tipping his hand. I think those qualities will serve him well.

I think she is kind of hot. But in a conflicted way. See, she's hot, cause she looks smart. However, she does not talk like she is smart.

Won't happen. It was predicted that this would happen in 2000/2004 with the democrats. What happened? Howard Dean became DNC chief and reworked the party, looking for inside players to run in the future. Kerry was a weak first play. They picked up with Obama and Hilary in 2008, the 50 state strat and full on money from internet fund raising.

It's already happening. Democrats =/= Republicans. Like I said, go look at Rush.
