+ Robin Hood, Oliver & Co., Recess: the Movie, Bedknobs & Broomsticks...

  2. I meant to list Oliver & Co., but I didn't think Recess counted and Bedknobs and Broomsticks isn't all animated.

And I thought Robin Hood was pretty well regarded.

    Guess not, I suppose.

  3. Robin Hood's even lower on the respect totem pole than Sword in the Stone, I'm pretty sure.

Teacher's Pet was mentioned, so Recess should count as well.

Ditto Three Caballeros in relation to Bedknobs.

  4. Robin Hood got a pretty major VHS release when (some of us) were kids. So did Sword in the Stone.

Was there anything worthwhile in the Recess movie? Teacher's Pet actually had art direction on its side.

  5. Recess rocks is what it had going for it.

But if you're asking if it was anything more than an extended episode, nah, not really.

  6. I really don't like that show! That's cool that the movie works for ya, though.

Has anyone seen Home on the Range? I think that absolutely fits in the catagory of forgotten features. I think it might deserve at least a cursory look, considering that it's the one that killed Disney 2D for the time being.

(Eisner allegedly demanded an "April" release, and it is about Cows. There was no way it was going to do well, and they used it to 'prove' that 2D wasn't viable. Self fufilling prophecy.)

  7. I get the feeling that Robin Hood was the start of the whole furry scene so I wouldn't call it "forgotten".

  8. That's creepy and probable.

  9. I had a figure of Mickey from Runaway Brain when he sees Minnie looking at the green and white(I think) bathing suit. I have no idea where it is now though

  10. Oh man, is it that vinyl "crouching evil Mickey" figure? That thing is bad-ass.
