Mortal Kombat
you're going to be talking to her like many dad's do drinking
"now baby, it is ok to have a game maybe a few times a week, and a few times when you are with friends, but never let it become an everyday thing. Your old man did that back in the day and it ate up all his time and money. Next thing I knew, I was doing 3 games a day. That was a $150 habit if the games were new. It is all about moderation. Moderation."
Don't Game and Drive is actually sound advice.
Find an old Atari 2600 and get that child playing. The best starter there is. $200 will probably net you 200 games by now.![]()
I think Galaga and Ms. Pac-Man are good starting points. I didn't start my son gaming until he was 4 and we started with 16-bit platformers and action games mostly.
I say introduce her to some tough ass games early on along side some of the easy ones even if she has no chance of getting to far into the first level. Some of my most satisfying gaming experiences have come from finally beating games that seemed impossible to me as a kid years later.
You taste like a burger. I don't like you anymore.
Teach her that Rez isn't overrated.
Battletoads, 2 player, and beat her ass down (in game) whenever she makes a mistake. It's the only way.
Quick zephyrs blow, vexing daft Jim.
