Thread: Let's start at the beginning.

  1. Cannon Fodder 2 (PC) - Never got around to playing this when it was new. Enjoying the hell out of it now.

Charles Barkley: Shut Up and Jam Gaiden (PC) - 10x better than any SNES Final Fantasy game by the sole virtue of its sense of humor. I just beat Ghost Dad last time I played. I'm hoping for sequels.

you just reminded me to finally get around to trying this one.

I've only played the first game, but I've always read III was the best.

It was way better looking than two but other than that...I dunno. I'd have to replay them. II was one of the first games I played extensively online, so I have nostalgia.

There are no rules, only consequences.

  5. Wow, I beat Garuda in one round. He owned me in the NES one a dozen or so times. What the hell.

  6. I got a Genesis emulator with every ROM for PS2, so I decided to try a random game.

    14. Golden Axe - Got pretty far, but man am I disappointed. I really did not enjoy this at all. Maybe I should use a different character next time.

  7. started and finished Dick Tracy on the Genny this morning. also started a Champions of Norrath game as well. so far it's pretty meh. very brown, VERY repetetive (even for a dungeon crawler).

    12. DotQuest - a Pac-Man text adventure is a neat idea in theory. I find it kind of boring, though.

    13. Warsow - A free online FPS. The graphics are all wonky, though, so I can't really judge it until I fix it.

    14. Tomb Raider Anniversary (PC) - The only reasons I didn't buy this day one were that I wanted to replay the original first (which I have done now; it has aged pretty well) and because the demo didn't run great on my PC. It sounds like the 360 port isn't as nice as it should be either. Anyway, the full game on PC seems to run smoother than the demo. Being a huge fan of the first TR and of Legend, I'm super excited. It's excellent so far.

  9. i also just stared tinkeing around with Travian.
