Thread: Let's start at the beginning.

  1. Just gave Apollo Justice Ace Attourney a shot. So far if you like the other 3 games, you know exactly what to expect here.

  2. Suikoden II - This game was pretty average from start until I finally got the castle, now I'm lovin it. There have been some really great parts don't get me wrong, but something about the game makes me know that if I try to play through it again I'm going to dread it up to that point.

Though if I do play through it again, I'm playing through Suikoden I first just so I can have the completed save with 108 stars and get Tir in Suikoden II ^.^

  3. 6)Final Fantasy Adventure- Something i come back to every few years, my favorite Seiken Densetsu, Gameboy game, and Zelda-alike ever, including any top-down Zelda. It's held up fantastically for a nearly 17 year old game.

Assassin's Creed (DS) - My expectations were low but this is pretty solid for a portable version, and very 32-bit resembling with its fixed camera angles which is a good thing thing given the hardware.

Assassin's Creed (360) - Dull at the beginning but it's starting to feel epic running across rooftops and trying to escape guys GTA style.

Wonder Boy in Monster World - It had been a while so I gave this another play through. It's still awesome, and it always brings good memories of racing to finish it before my rental was up back when I was 16.

No More Heroes - I finally decided to just go ahead and buy it instead of waiting for a price drop. I forgot how much these kind of games affect my muscle problems (I loved God Hand but stopped before the end because of pain; hopefully I won't with this) but I like it so far. Like Killer 7, it will probably hold my interest on style at least.

  5. The Legend of Kage (AC) - in anticipation (?) of the DS sequel, acquired the PCB and been playing it nonstop, way better than the FC port

Wonder Boy (AC) - never actually played the original arcade version until getting this, too bad it become famous as Adventure Island

    2013 Completion (2): PC (1), 360 (1)

  6. just started Super Paper Mario and Mario Galaxy.

Mario Galaxy - i can't put it down. i'm going through every stage in every galaxy in order, even if i have the other stages opened. i rarely do this with games anymore.

SPM - seems very tedious so far. i just took control of Peach. lack of a quick select for characters/pixls is dumb.

  7. I have started:

Dead Rising (360) - I had played this before at Tain's but it's definitely a fantastic game. I made the wonderful mistake of selecting the "Start over" option when I died at one point, but honestly that was for the best. Now I'm at 11:00 AM on the second day (Technically still the first 24 hour period) with the speed increase which makes this game so much better. I defintely plan to knock out 72 hour mode at least.

Magic Knights Rayearth (Saturn) - This is a fantastically charming game, cute and funny, the gameplay is alright though there's much less gameplay versus talking to people which doesn't bother me. I Love the diaries though and have read em all so far lol. I plan to finish this game sometime soon as well.

  8. Finished DMC4, and started Import Tuner Challenge and God of War: Chains of Olympus.

Making it entertaining to begin with would suffice.

  10. I've been playing co-op Sniper Elite (Xbox) with my roommate. It's a third-person shooter with a heavy emphasis on sniping, and it's a surprisingly good game. The pace is a little slow since you're constantly scanning areas for enemies to snipe, but the sniping action is very satisfying (bullet-cam!) I'm not sure how this game would fair as a single-player experience, but it's pretty fun in co-op. A current-gen remake/update with better graphics and even deeper sniping mechanics would be totally awesome.
