    This is true.

This is not. I find ass kickin' to be too bright.

I played Mystery Dungeon-Shiren the Wanderer (DS) for a few hours over the weekend. I was having a grand old time, then died by the hands of three reapers. I doubt I'll ever play it again.
Also started Growlanser Generations. I really don't like most of the voices.

Isn't that how the game is supposed to play? You breeze through like you're a god, then you fuck up, have to start all over and figure out how not to fuck up next time?
    Donk

  4. Probably, but I'm not willing to keep wasting hours at a time to figure it out.

  5. DMC4-I was playing through son of sparda mode until a friend wanted it back. Great game, best hack and slash in a long time.

DMC3-I skipped over this when it first came out, but I'm glad I came back to it. I'm a little over halfway through it right now, and I'm having a lot of fun. It's not as fluid as DMC4 but it's a lot of fun, and it's a lot harder.

The game evolves as you progress. Shops, restaurants, and courier services eventually open up in towns. After a while, you warp items - and yourself - around the villages pretty freely.

I can't figure out exactly what the trigger is for those evolutions, though. It's either the number of times you died, reaching specific (but not specified) points of the game, or a little of both. Either way, all of the attempts that end in death aren't for not.

Stick with it. It's frustrating, but rewarding.

  7. So it's kinda, sorta like Dragon Quarter?
I thought that when you died, you just had to start over and do the same shit over again, with no change in what you came across.

  8. Exactly. It's similar to Dragon Quarter in more ways than just that, come to think of it. I might have to fire that up again soon.

    ~ ¡Enticing Comparison! ~

  9. Except that you're not supposed to die in Dragon Quarter.

  10. Started:
    Point Blank DS
    Guardian Heroes Advance
