I started Suikoden V a couple of weeks ago. I had played up to the ending battle before when the game originally came out, but got pissed as I had missed some characters and could no longer get them.
I'm forty hours in this time, and just realized that this time around I missed some other characters.
I don't have it in me to start over again.
Working my way through Silent Hill 4: The Room on Xbox. So far decent enough.
Prey (PC) - Bought this on Sunday, and I'm enjoying the hell out of it. The games at a nice fast pace, and the use of the portals has been pretty clever so far. Would've kept playing yesterday but my back pain got the best of me.
Oblivion: Shivering Isles (PC) - First thing I had to do was get Francesco's mod to fix the terrible game balance. I like that the game isn't as long as the original, so I wont spend nearly as much time dicking around as I did the first time. The streamline mod that I found makes the game run like a dream, just wish I knew about it the first time.

Started playing Mabinogi over the weekend. Pretty fun MMORPG so far, reminds me of Ultima Online a bit.
Here's what I remember starting since the last time I posted (not counting demos) -
Super Smash Bros. Brawl - I have yet to go online but offline this is everything I hoped for in a SSB sequel. Subspace Emissary is actually a solid platform game on its own. Unlike Melee's adventure mode, there's some decent level design. Sonic and Green Hill Zone are awesome, too.
Legend of Kage 2 - I didn't get to play for that long but action was fast-paced and controlled well. I'm a huge Strider fan so having it influence Kage is cool.
Dijamantski Rudnik - A neat line moving action game I played on emulator. It's very low tech by '80s standards (it's on an old Yugoslavian computer, Galaksija), though.
Battle of Olympus - One of the NES' more underrated games. I will need to replay Zelda II but so far this seems to have aged better than it.
Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword - A surprisingly impressive DS Ninja Gaiden game. I like having handdrawn cutscenes in this series again. I hated the stylus controls at first but they have grown on me even if they seem kind of simplistic.

I'm pretty into it. Some shocking revelations just in the first case. I think I'm going to like Trucy.
Trucy is the best! Be prepared for boredom and irritation in the second case... that goddamn video. But things do get very interesting before it's all over... and then they end. It's terribly uneven, but it's a decent setup for better installments in the future, I think. Just don't expect to get answers to a lot of questions you probably have right now. And... well, the most interesting character is still Phoenix. That's kind of a drag.
