I loved the challenge rooms until they introduce bullets, then it gets much less fun.

Well, I just need to figure out where to plug the hyper rockets at the last boss and I should have this wrapped up. I tried playing this on Hard at first and I sucked at it, really bad.
Maybe I'll go back to do the challenges, or retry playing on Hard, but I doubt it. My patience for the platformer genre has worn too thin for this bullshit. Someone in the XBLA thread said that this game follows the original too closely - no sir, it isn't followed closely enough. I'm more comfortable with the rhythm now but Radd moves much more slowly at times here compared to 20 years ago.
The game's well made and all but I just get too frustrated with it.
Are those secret challenge room codes the only way to unlock them or is there a way of doing it in game?

And he only 3 starred it. These are pretty rough. Stuck on Room 44 and its bullshit rebound apex jump shit...
How in the hell did you finish room 48 (Up, Up and Away)? I've done most of the normal rooms and even half of the secret rooms (the 2-3 frame grappling hook shots in secret rooms 5 and 6 can go fuck a duck), and I can't get high enough off of the second block to grab the third, ugh.
