GameGO for me. I never actually was into GameFan. The awful art and presentation was such a turn off I never really bothered to actually read it. I wish I did in hindsight.

gamefan was awesome between 1994-1997. After that I didn't care as much.

presentation sucked but GF was the only magazine that plastered about 50 million screen shots (clear shots, i might add) in every preview and review...i mean the reviews were hard to read sometimes, especially when the fucking font was the size of a lemon seed and overlapped screen shots or when the font color was the same color as the background...other than that shit was tight.

plus they covered a lot of imports.

Sheeeit, I used to use TNL as a benchmark when doing my own fansite designs (I never did anything half as snazzy) back in the '90s. I think the first time I posted on the forum was because of a #GF_Tavern 5th anniversary or something (it's almost 11 years old now, on perpetual life support). I started posting frequently when Bahn asked me to contribute articles to TNL, which is when I earned my first TNL fans.
