I like Blizzard and Valve. Ubisoft has been pretty solid for the past 2 or 3 years, too.
Now that I have some time to think this over, here are my list (which includes all titles, not just current ones).
Sega (Rez, Virtua Fighter, Space Harrier, Rez, Outrun, Afterburner, Phantasy Star, Rez, Herzog Zwei, Streets of Rages, Daytona USA, Panzer Dragoon Saga, Rez, NFL 2K5...)
Atlus (Shin Megami Tensei series, Tactics Ogre, Double Dragon Advance, Super Robot Taisen 1/2, Ogre Battle, Disgaea)
SNK (Mark of the Wolves, Last Blade 1/2, Samurai Shodown, Pulstar, Twinkle Star Sprites, King of Fighters, Metal Slug, Card Fighters,... if you like 2D fighters, SNK is automatic)
Capcom (Resident Evil 4, Street Fighter 2 and on, Viewtiful Joe, God Hand, Marvel Vs Capcom 2, Darkstalkers, Mega Men, 194x, Final Fight, Forgotten Worlds, Mars Matrix, DMC, Steel Battalion)
Microprose/Firaxix (they deserve a mention just for Civilization, but I remember fondly of many of the Microprose games like Railroad Tycoon, X-Com UFO Defense, Gunship 2000, Formula 1 Grand Prix, Master of Orion)
--
That rounds out my top 5. Honorable mentions include Nintendo, Konami, Working Designs (I didn't mind the humor and Dragon Force/Iron Storm/Lunars are my favorite games in the 32bit era), Interplay (Planescape Torment, Freespace 2 and Baldur's Gate) and Electronic Arts.

It's like Winston cigarettes advertising to little kids by making commercials of the Flintstones and Jetsons lighting up, or the supsidairy of Camel cigarettes making cigarette gum.
Microsoft and Sony see a bunch of grown men with cash to burn on shit they don't need, so they making gaming consoles to trap the comsumer into making further purchases with them.
Huh.
Yes. Sony and Microsoft dont sell consoles to make money. They do it to show off their respective cocks. And to sell televisions. And assert dominace over Apple. Respectively, of course.
Next you're going to say that Mitsubishi and Honda only make AUTOMOBILES so that people will buy televisions and fucking robots.
I call shenanigans. Joke account. Must Be.
