Yes, you can replay any chapter you've completed, and each chapter is broken up into segments that you can separately practice. Very slick. And you're correct -- the vibe is very old school arcade insofar as it drives you to perfect your technique to beat your best time.

Im trying very hard to like this game. Unfortunately I always feel like I'm grappling with the controls and the light bloom is way too excessive most of the time.

F all of the haters; this game is the business. DICE has managed to do something that most people thought was impossible. The game is rough in spots --the chase scenes with the helicopters are annoying (as if you get stuck anywhere you are turbo-dead) and the forced fights are just BS as the combat is neither fun nor well-implemented. Stomping people's heads is hot shit, though.

Yeah the game is short, but you will get good value if you're trying to 100% the game, as you really should be doing. Someone should beat the times I have up there now. :3

I just played the demo and it is really damn cool. Reminds me of Breakdown + Prince of Persia. I was stuck doing that triple jump thing to get up onto a wall, that was tough. Can't wait for a price drop after the holidays so I can get the full experience.

I'll wait for the pc port in January. Besides it being cheaper (unless the console versions get marked down by then) it'll have some fancy schmancy nvidia physx stuff (cloth physics and stuff). Looked neat from the video I saw.

Doesn't really make a pretty game any prettier, though. I'd love to see a Crisis Zone update with that.
