Isn't the Dead Space DLC just weapon unlocks and stupid shit like that? It's not even content.
The EA-published PC version of Dead Space has no DLC at all. Not even the non-console-specific stuff.
Not that I'd pay for it.
And there used to be lots of developers providing post-launch content, not just Valve + a few others.

I'd like to see the astronaut suit! But yeah, it sucks.
One weapon I believe.
bVork, "PC gamers" aren't thrilled with pay DLC because it's shit 99% of the time. The DLC just posted for ME is a perfect example. They're speed run maps for $10. I'd pay $15 tops for a digital expansion pack but these devs will never see a dime from me on after market shit as long as it continues this trend.
I finally made time to play through this and it is a goddamn incredible game, and I'm really depressed that it's selling like shit and the extent to which so many people don't really understand the game. I've gone as far as hearing people say this game has no replay value, when in fact I think it's impossible to really appreciate this game on the first play. There is so much subtlety and finesse to the game's mechanics. Everything that Assassin's Creed did wrong with the freerunning concept, this game does very right.
EA does the right thing with an amazing, genre-bending original piece of gaming with incredible replay value and depth, and the market says "Fuck you, go back to rehashed sequels of shit I know."

Janurary can't come soon enough.
What does this mean? That there's a die-roll to determine whether you'll actually do a wall run or fall to your death? The success of the moves -- jumping, coiling, wall-runs, etc. -- are all dependent upon your distance, approach angle and timing. If set up correctly, you'll never miss. The challenge is for the player to be consistent.
Why? Again, disarms are based on distance and timing. Done correctly, you'll never miss. Never. Also, combat is extremely and, contrary to a previous post of mine, I believe you can avoid every single confrontation.
"Fiends! Animals! Bastards!"
It means he isn't very good with the game.![]()
