Absolutely. Look at how much Gus has protected Walt without him even knowing it. Right now he's just become aware that Hank is getting dangerously close. Walt has no idea the twins even exist. But once Gus has finished his business with Walt, he won't care what happens to him. He's a hardcore business man to say the least.

I think it's pretty obvious that his lab partner is there to learn all the tricks. In an obvious obvious kind of way. I don't think this show is trying to hide that connection at any rate. As soon as he walked in and the lab guy was here you got that vibe.

Walt's work had had previously stolen, no way he lets it happen again. I'm sure he'll intentionally feed his lab assistant wrong info about the formula.

It'd actually might be interesting to see Walt develop a paranoia about his formula; that his lab assistant, Gus, and ultimately everybody are out to get it when they aren't. That would just add to the mess that already is Walt.

That was one of the biggest endings I have ever seen.

AMC aired a MAJOR preview of next episode BEFORE the end of this one. So they pretty much spoiled the entire ending of this episode for us. It showed Hank on the ground with the Mexican above him holding an axe. It also showed a preview of next week: The one Mex who was crushed from the waist down is a parapalegic and tries to kill Hank in the hospital or something, but Hank is in rough condition but lives.

What a show.
