    Money is a motivator, but it stopped being a rationalization by the end of season 3.

    I'm really curious about Todd now. We know nothing about him and he reacted to the visitor shockingly fast. It makes me wonder if Mike gave him the gun and what he was told to use it. Mike is stone cold, doesn't want any loose ends. Poor Jesse, he's trying to keep his soul clean, comes up with this plan to keep from killing anyone and then the worst thing happens. What an avoidable disaster.
    All we need to know about Todd is that he is a professional.

    And for all his professionalism, Mike is still extremely conservative.

    This is a final gut check moment for Jesse. I predict he will not react well. Remember what happened to him after season 3, and his meth-fueled tailspin?

    For me, the relationship between Walt and Jesse is the most important relationship in the show. Walt really sees Jesse as a surrogate son, in a way that Walt Jr. will never be. And Jesse still calls Walt "Mr. White." I predict that this half-season will end with a final confrontation between Jesse and Walt.

    This is Godfather Part II-level stuff.

  8. So that was a pure gut-punch of an episode. Damn...

    I love how the weather decided they were going to get the most incredibly gorgeous shots possible when scouting the tracks. The bit where the walk in from the right, with the sun shining through a curl of clouds, was stunning.
