    I wanted to do separate lists for console, arcade, computer, and portable but I guess that would be cheating (and be really long).

    2006 - Dark Messiah: Might & Magic (PC) Oblivion was my choice by far until I realized how duped I was by its scaling.

    I will give Planescape another try. I played so much UT and was so addicted to it that I couldn't choose anything else, even System Shock 2.
