You're lucky we're even getting 2d fighters anymore. Jesus, all we do is bitch and moan that nothing is ever coming out, and then when something IS shown to be released we complain that it isn't the one that we want? Besides SNK's releases, there hasn't been shit as far as compitent 2d fighters on the home console market in a good long time. You should be happy we're even getting this to begin with.

Being 2D doesn't mean it's worth your money.

I thought we all learned this lesson with Odin Sphere?

Goddamnit, don't remind me. That game still pisses me off.

On that note, I don't think this is a very good fighting game (and will be considered deprecated even before the US release, as AH2 comes out in mid-March), but whatever.

I usually end up buying Atlus' medicore releases just to support them and hopefully encourage them to take more risks. This will be pretty much in that direction, except I'm really hard up for some new, or fresh, 2D fighters to play.

Funny. And I get the strangest feeling ZUN is still going to be a lazy ass and not translate anything after this over. I'll bet he has some English knowledge. You can't just go for 12 years like that.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with that, but to become "choosy" in the lackluster market that we have doesn't bode well. Granted, buying a game just to further along the production of more 2d fighters is just as stupid - but when we're THIS strapped for a quality 2d title outside of SNK, I think it's about time we started taking more chances(especially when these titles are priced well below the standard msrp)

I can see both sides, but I'm with MWF.
I bought the Art of Fighting Anthology knowing that I hate all the games on it and never play them, just to show support for SNK.
