Despite being developed by a western developer on a portable system, Contra 4 defied all TNL criticisms by being an awesome game.

Best Game TNL Ignored: Picross DS

Outside of a couple of posters, I haven't seen much TNL buzz regarding this game, which is a shame because it's a really good puzzle game. The DS touch controls are a perfect fit for this game, and the downloadable puzzles via the Wi-Fi network extend the game after you finish all the main puzzles. Plus, it's only $20. The DS gets criticisms for its lack of quality games, but Picross DS is definitely one of the few that is a must-buy.
