Saw it last night. Solid, fast-paced, flashy. Overall a pretty good flick. The crazy over-the-top stunts for some reason didn't feel out of place, probably because the whole movie was filled with them from beginning to end. Kinda reminded me of The Matrix a bit.
But Angie is coming dangerously close to hitting the wall, looks wise. Age is a cruel mistress.

Well, I saw Wall-E Sunday night with a girl. It was a second date, but honestly, I'm not feeling it with her at all, so I doubt there will be a third. She's nice, and she seems way into me, but...I dunno. I'm just not into her. Maybe it's too soon after ending my previous 5+ year relationship. Whatever.
And Monday night is always movie night with me and my buddies. And we always get into movies free whenever we want, so seeing one is always a viable option.
Honestly, this week was pretty movie-packed. Saturday night me and a friend went to this artsy-fartsy theater in Huntington because every Saturday night during the summer they show a different double feature. This week was The Road Warrior and The Running Man, and we just HAD to see a classic Arnold flick on the big screen. The double feature started at 11PM and ended just after 3AM. In-between the movies they showed old episodes of some 1940's Batman TV show, which were hilarious. It was actually a cool experience, as the there was a pretty rowdy and hardcore crowd there who could clap and cheer for almost anything.

Just got back from seeing this, I think It was as good as it could have been given what they changed. The beginning was very strong, and that the actor who played wesley had it together. However I greatly dislike Angelina Jolie, as I have never seen a film where she added anything. She's a card board cut out that a lot of people find attractive for reasons that escape me. She's distinctive looking, not what I would call beautiful or anything. And then there's Morgan, a fine actor, but way over exposed. Especially seeing as he plays himself in every movie I've ever seen him in. That's about it, not the comic, but not bad.
I hate Angelina Jolie as well. The last movie I saw her in was Mr and Mrs Smith. What a godawful POS.
