What I like is how the dorkiest little stimulus will get a nice little crew of the usual suspects lined up to pontificate on their feelings towards marijuana as nonusers. It used to be annoying but now it's charmingly cute.

Does anyone here have any experience with Toms Shoes? I need some loafer-style shoes and for ~$50 these look appealing. But I need to know if they last a while. I'll beat the hell out of these things in the summer. I also want to know if they're comfortable.

Just get nice loafers IMO. Toms Shoes are Crocs for people who dislike Crocs.
