Hard Drivin actually had a playable framerate..kinda. At least I can run into the cow nicely on my own. Checkered Flag is a total slideshow. It must run at 2 fps and you have no clue when to turn your car because of the hideous framerate. I don't understand why the game turned out that way when some Jag games like Iron Soldier had a solid framerate.

Checkered Flag also had terrible floaty controls. I think GF said "Virtua Racing plays like a Sega game and CF plays like a Rebellion game." Which was a nice way of saying it sucked.

No sympathy. I played the Lynx port of Hard Drivin'. For hours on end. I was pretty good at it.

Lynx Checkered Flag was pretty good though.

Lynx Checkered Flag was pretty good though.

That was one of the few Lynx racers I thought kind of sucked (I got it with my system). It looked fine but it didn't have the sensation of speed like RoadBlasters, Hydra or STUN Runner.
