Bay to Breakers is an annual run in San Francisco that starts downtown and ends at the ocean, just 7-8 miles away. Not a long run, though I suspect at some point it was actually relatively serious. Now it's just an excuse for people to get drunk, dress retarded, and walk around nude.
I went with a bunch of guys from work. Dave Clayman was the President of the United States and a bunch of other guys were his secret service escorts. I jumped into the bit last minute, so I went as "The Press." My costume was so good that some drunk woman actually thought I was with the press ("What press are you with?" "The press" "Don't be an asshole, who are you with?"). The bit was good enough that they got on the SF Chronicle website. Here are some pictures I took to show that what we were doing was no amateur outing.
