So my brother and his girlfriend stayed at my place from Tuesday night to today . They drove up Tuesday from VA, which took about 12 hours because of traffic. When they got here, they got in at midnight but went out with friends until 2:30 am. I had to work the next morning. It was bullshit, but I let it slide because, I mean fuck it.

Cut to today. They leave at around 4 even though I asked them to stay so we could go see a movie later. His girlfriend is all No we need to go see her friend/boss and get a check. Fine, later guys.

So cut to about... 10, and I get a call from my mother saying that they stayed with their friend too long and were going to stay here again tonight. When they got here, they came in and I said it's fine for them to stay here, but I that I felt sort of put upon and that it was kind of rude for them to be in a rush to leave to go hang out with other people and then come back to me for a place to crash.

WELL. They both rail off excuses, get into a huff and leave. We convince them to come back in because it's stupid for them to leave and that we (my girlfriend and I) both wanted them to stay, but didn't want to be doormats about it. They hang in the car for like an hour talking it out, and I just sort of stay in and play video games. My brother comes to the door and is like "we're gonna go"

It was really a big ordeal, I just wanted them to ask or say they were sorry about it. Geez.
