Yeah. A lot of other people tried to get refunds and failed so I didn't bother.
And I go home tomorrow morning so there was no point in trying to switch the day.
Just a heads up, a lot of the candy lines are stupid long. There are two candy buckets on the side of the line for splash mountain that had almost no lines. I don't think they put them on the brochure.
There's also someone going around with mini halloween peeps. I never saw them but my parents did and got a bunch peeps.
Its a great time to ride rides. I think I waited 6 minutes for Pirates, 5 for space mountain, 5 for splash mountain.
When I was a kid I visited an aunt and uncle in California and they took me to Disney. It was mid-week in the off-season so there were NO LINES FOR ANYTHING. It was fucking blissful for a child. I went on Space Mountain like 4 or 5 times, and each time I was just running through these long, very realistic-looking space ship corridors to get back on the ride instead of having to wait at all. To a sci-obsessed kid, the experience was mind-blowing. If I ever go again, it's depressing to know that it won't be as cool to the adult me.
Eat a 'special' cookie an hour before you get on the ride.
Just went to the dentist for the first time since sometime in 2010 because I got some holes in my toofs. They don't hurt (often) which is good, because it will be a while before I can afford the 3 root canals and one other procedure they deem nessecary. On the other hand, it would be an unfathomable amount (for me) if I didn't have insurance, so I guess $1700 isn't too bad for all that. On the other other hand, if I want to have them all removed, it's free. Cept then I'd be down a serious amount of teeth. Not really an option at this point. Urg.
The American people should band together to work towards the goal of getting regular health insurance to cover dental work. Even with dental insurance, procedures outside of cleaning are stupidly expensive.
I've always heard that dentist have better lobbyist than doctors. They also tend to be a bit more greedy or at least selfish. You don't become a dentist for the good of humanity.
