Think you'll have to change your technique any? It may not "feel right," but speaking strictly from a medical standpoint, alt-picking would definitely take a lot of the stress off your picking hand.

I just got back from the doctor's. I'm not allowed to play bass/guitar for a minimum of a month. I wish I was dead. Its the only thing I like to do. Can't use a mouse right handed for just as long. Cuts out any and all income I can make on the side doing computer related activities. Fucking sucks.
