I don't understand the problems people are having with the Wii wheel. The Wii wheel controls perfectly fine for this. Some of you sound like you've never driven a car before. Just hold the wheel straight (no reason to over correct either because the karts go relatively straight on there own) and turn the wheel slightly to the left or right to turn. There is nothing hard about it, and the wheel is VERY PRECISE...especially compared to the crappy motion controls in Excite Truck.

I don't think the wheel is the worst invention for the Wii - far from it. I am just not as accustomed to that type of format right now, which is why "I" love the nunchuk setup. The comparison to the car is an interesting example -- I wish it handled EXACTLY like that because I am sure those who you felt were complaining would be even more thrilled if it had that precision (which in my opinion, it doesn't). I plan on using it again cuz I want the Gold Wheel icon (just to say I did).

They seem to be a variety of colors. I turned the system completely off instead of leaving it in the standby mode where it will tell you if you have a message or not - I'll see if the cooler temps make a difference or not.

A week doesn't sound too bad but I think my system is out of warranty.

It's hosed man. Call Nintendo and let them know that you're aware that this is a common problem -- at least a few of us here have had the same problem.
