    It's all about ease of play vs depth and details.

    This demo sucks. It's like rock/paper/scissors played out five times every second. There's no depth beyond mashing and hoping you predict the next movement of your opponent.

  9. Obviously there were games like this before the ones I posted. But I think it's safe to say that they hit a pinnacle of popularity with NBA Jam.

  10. And with good cause, NBA Jam was fucking amazing.
