This is obviously marketed to younger kids. The older Star Wars fans will go no matter what -- this is an attempt at breeding a whole new generation of kids addicted to the saga. Jar Jar Binks was one of the most popular characters among kids when the first movie hit. Kids are generally easy to please with some wacky character design and funny voice.
EDIT: That art style looks okay. What's the big deal?

Oh, and Sam Jackson confirmed.
The best part of that is only seeing Lucas' name as a producer.
I'm not a devious man by nature... but when you're unarmed, your tactics might gonna be downright Archimedean.
I care so little about this that it's astounding.
