This is obviously marketed to younger kids. The older Star Wars fans will go no matter what -- this is an attempt at breeding a whole new generation of kids addicted to the saga. Jar Jar Binks was one of the most popular characters among kids when the first movie hit. Kids are generally easy to please with some wacky character design and funny voice.

EDIT: That art style looks okay. What's the big deal?

  5. Yeah, I dont mind the art style. Looks fine to me. Anyone who liked the first animated Clone Wars should be alright with this. And personally I thought that other animated clone wars was the best thing to come out of the Star Wars franchise in a while. The only thing that could hurt this one would be the obviously tacked on storyline.

  6. "At 7:58 p.m. in all U.S. time zones, Cartoon Network, TNT, TBS, CNN, and Boomerang will debut an action-packed, two-minute preview of the animated adventure from creator George Lucas and Lucasfilm Animation. It marks the first time a theatrical trailer has received a simultaneous, cross-network airing on Turner Networks. The trailer debuts in theaters on Friday, May 9, along with the first poster for the movie. The poster is available for pre-order exclusively at StarWarsShop. Check it out here."

  8. The best part of that is only seeing Lucas' name as a producer.
I'm not a devious man by nature... but when you're unarmed, your tactics might gonna be downright Archimedean.

  9. I care so little about this that it's astounding.

  10. Star Wars Meets Madagascar! CAN'T MISS!
