Thread: Nintendo DS Thread

  1. A pretty interesting looking game that seems a bit similar to Kirby Canvas Touch or whatever the hell it was called.

  2. Foto Dojo has got me on the DS again. I made a friend of mine pose and do the voices, then I set a picture of two men pleasuring each other as the background. By crawling through the single player I was able to finally beat 100 foes. My rank was a D. I unlocked a song. Are there more unlockables?
The fun is definitely in the character creation. The actual game sucks, but for free, it's a fun diversion.
Since Animal Crossing was in the slot, I fired up my town. It took me two hours to weed. I think it's been two years since I played it. (My daughter's OG DS finally bit it -cracked hinge- and was using my dsi, which is why AC was in my system)

  3. X Scape

Been playing this for the past hour or so. I'm not sold on the touch screen control, but it's fun. Basically a mix of Cybermorph and Steller 7.
As I've stated in the past, back when poly games were making their debut, I never cared for the flat shaded look. But I've since grown to appreciate it, and even prefer it to low res crappy textured polys. So I really, really like the graphics in this game. Everything moves fast and smoothly.

  4. That totally looks like something I would be into. It's too bad it's for DSiWare. I'm not buying a new system any time soon just to play a few downloadable games.

And Glass Joe, there's also a Wii version of Ivy. Both are getting localized. It does look neat.

  5. But Neo, Shantae is coming!

I don't blame ya though. It's been months since I played my DS. I'm just happy that I finally found something kinda interesting to me in the dsiware shop. I've been sitting on 1500 points for almost a year.

  6. Shantae DS does look sweet although my apathy for the first game is keeping me from getting too hyped for it.

  7. If you have a DS and don't buy Picross 3D, then you'll have no soul. This thing is amazing - they ease you into the concept (which took a bit to wrap my brain around) but it pays off! I've been hitting puzzles non-stop on lunch, in the morning, and when I get home. Hours simply melt away! And the gameplay feels so intuitive - now that I'm finally in the zone for 3D puzzle solving, the new levels throw larger depth, more scattered patterns, and tighter time limits.

For $20, you could do much worse.

  8. Illust Logic DS + Colorful Logic blows Picross 3D out of the water.

  9. Isn't that just Picross 2D?

It is very fun, I've heard PicPic is also a really good puzzle game for DS.

DS = Puzzle games and Pokemans IMO
Quick zephyrs blow, vexing daft Jim.
