  1. It comes out tomorrow!
    Donk

  2. Y so mean?

  3. guess i'll be skipping out on the dsi. is this thing backwards/ds compatible?

    image from here.

3ds on charging dock. seriously, how thick is this thing?

  4. Looks like about a DS Lite and a half?

It's back'ards compatable with regular DS, no clue about GBA.

  5. It only needs to be small enough to transport.

  6. So what does the slider actually do? Is it just an optical adjustment, or does the 3DS actually render the images differently based on where the slider is?

It looks thicker than it is because it's actually slightly smaller than the DS Lite in the other dimensions. It's only 2mm thicker than the DS Lite and smaller overall.

Touch aiming is workable, but it's not more accurate than an analog and sure as shit isn't anywhere near a mouse.
Yoshi, why do you continually make statements about things which you know nothing about. Stop being such a hater. Hating leads to tar-dating. Don't play that game...Anyhow, the touch aiming is exactly like a mouse......EXACTLY. It shits all over an analog and is EXACTLY like a mouse. If you'd have played some DS fps's (Metroid is the perfect example), you'd know that. Now, the 3DS is gonna be even better, it's gonna have touchscreen aiming (which works EXACTLY like a mouse btw) but it's also gonna have analog movement, something that a keyboard/mouse setup doesn't even have. It's gonna have the best of both worlds. Only thing that's gonna suck is that your only gonna have access to one button while controlling this way, so they're gonna have to compensate by making virtual buttons.

Now, instead of spewing hatred towards me (resulting in me being banned, no doubt), go and try Metroid DS and see for yourself.

  10. Metroid DS was really bad.
