Persona 3: FES - YAY!

The first two are very different games. They're good in their own right and I love the extremely dark tones present in the Shin Megami Tensei serieses. I tried playing through Persona 2 but stopped early on because I was bored out of my mind. Part of it was because I was using the keyboard instead of a Joypad which inheritely removes every ounce of fun from any Playstation game ever.

Don't! It is evil, making you neglect sleep and food like some sorry MMO addict. I've put 26 hour into the game since I got it on Friday, and only my iron will has preventing me from playing more. The game flow is truly insidious in how there's just enough to do to keep the rewards flowing, with bigger and better stuff always on the horizon. There's rarely a clean break to make it easy to put down.

lol, one could have argued at one point that at least the game ends. BUT NO THERE IS AN EXPANSION, THIS GAME NEVER ACTUALLY ENDS ALSO, YOU CAN CARRY OVER YOUR STATS FOR A NEW GAME. AND WITH FES THERE IS A HARD MODE SO YOU CAN PLAY IT ALL OVER AGAIN EXCEPT MORE DIFFICULT!

I finally got my copy on Friday and have been replaying The Journey so I can see all the new stuff. It's just as addictive as when I got the original. No more free time for meeeeeee!

Yeah I can't find my memory card with the saves so I've had to start all over. I started on Hard mode but that may be a mistake because this game was already unfair the first time through.

Can you play FES with the stats from a save file from the original Persona 3? I heard you can, but it's not letting me load any of my files. I would like to see the new content, but don't want to go through all the grinding in Tartarus that I did during the first playthrough.

Start a New Game to import an old save. A few things are brought over but player levels are not. However, if you want to cheese your way through the game, you can try to purchase an overpowered Persona from your compendium well before you'd be able to summon it normally.

Also, it's not that I want to "cheese" my way through, it's just the fact that my old playthrough approached 90 hours. I want to see the new content, but do not have the patience, nor the time to play it that long. (Plus, there's that GTA4 thing also).
