P3P has today been officially announced for North American release. We all knew it'd happen eventually, but nice to finally have it confirmed. Coming July 6th - and with a nice cover to boot (thankfully not following the style they used for whatever reason with P3 and P3 FES).

So I came back to this after not playing it since Christmas. I'm at the 4th full moon. I really like the game so far.

I think the movement away from pure grinding was a good one. Having to balance grinding, money, and social interaction is a nice change of pace from a lot of JRPG were it is all grind grind grind.

Also, Finch: your opinion regarding Persona 3 is wrong.

Persona 3 is the feces that is produced when shame eats too much stupidity. The bowel movements i've had after downing a bottle of extra strength Tylenol are less painful than playing Persona 3. At least then you can go nuts and finally die after shitting your colon out, but with Persona 3, you have to live with it. You never felt like thinking it would last forever, but it does. It lasts for fucking ever.

I played through P3 FES last summer and I really enjoyed it. It was refreshing finally playing a good JRPG again (after trying to force myself thru western rpgs like Oblivion the past few years) and it made a Mega ten fan out of me. I loved the story and characters + the music is awesome. I finished digital devil saga one too + I bought nocturne and P4 last year - both of which I havent played yet.
