go into system settings.
No worries. I've been doing the same lately as well. Now that it is easier to do pub with friends, all the pub playing has really gotten to me. I think 99% of my kills were from chainsawing, but hey, whatever works. Good games indeed.
So is there more than one pic for each theme? As far as I can tell, the pic in the background stays no matter where you are on the UI.
go into system settings.
The pic in the main background stays the same, but yeah switch to games library/system settings/media library or whatever and they'll change just like they would with the blades.
The old dashboard is really there, hiding under a new coat of paint and the tacked-on nxe screen is all in one blade.
The best part of the nxe update is the new party system/guide button menus/everything runs faster.
Tonight Cap and I managed to play public games of multiplayer without having to listen to any trash talk.
So how do you cancel out of getting hit with a smoke grenade? I've been seeing that happen in pubs.
This game really blows btw.

You mean getting up faster or not getting knocked down at all? If it's getting up faster. mash the A button. If it's not getting knocked down at all, remember, there is no friendly fire on pub games, so you can't get knocked down by a teammates smoke grenade. I'm pretty positive there is no way to avoid getting knocked down by an enemy's, or your own, smoke grenade other than getting the hell out of there.
Yeah, they really fucked this game up. Patch please.
Matchmaking takes so long that I left to make a sandwich, came back, my system had switched to "away" and I still wasn't in a match. In fact, as I'm typing this, I'm still not in a match. I'm really considering trading this in. I mean, if it weren't for the fact that half the tnl'ers that I like playing games with play this all night, I would.
Yeah, matchmaking takes WAY too long. Finding players seems to go quickly, but when it starts trying to match up stats/ranks/like players (or whatever the hell its doing) into teams it all goes to hell.
That and Ive seen more than a few invincibilty bleed-out glitches.Where in non-execution matches the guy bleeding out will be impervious to pretty much any firepower directed his way.Happened to me on a King of the Hill on Security.Pretty awesome at the time as I was behind the barrier where the flamethrower is, in a ring, with the entirety of the enemy team on the other side lined up shooting at an invincible, crawling me (for some damn reason none of them thought to deactivate the barrier and attempt to just execute me).
I've tried the matchmaking with just myself and groups of 2, 3, and 4 and it still takes unacceptably long. When we finally do get a match, 2 of 5 we could manage last night were so out of synch that it was totally unplayable. Starts with me firing my gun and never losing ammo (or being able to reload), and then soon everyone's popping and sliding all over the place...on top of that, pause, and the option to exit to lobby is greyed out, forcing everyone to quit to dash. Bad night for GoW2 MP.
A full room of TNLers works well, but if I just have a few friends on Horde is the only consistent chance for fun. While I appreciate all the improvements to the GoW2 interface, it just makes how amazingly smooth Halo 3 is all the more apparent. It's like, methodically well thought out.
With 5 ppl, we almost always get into matches instantly and I'd say I've only had 1 out of 10 matches have unplayable lag. The only times it's been impossible for us to find a match is when there is 1 or 4 players. Everything else seems to go fast most of the time.
Also, just found out that the locusts tie up the berserkers to rape them to mate. Just a little food for thought.
