I agree with Ramon. Why do we need to beta test this? We know how this will work, it is called Gears 1. Smoke grenades suck plain and simple, but since it doesn't jive with the developers' "vision", they refuse to acknowledge it until now.

Don't be a dumbfuck. Cliffy B won't remove them because he doesn't want to realize the mistake he made by incorporating them into gameplay. He's avoided this issue since the game first dropped and now he's just thinking about making ONE DAY out seven where the smokes won't work.
Why the fuck even bother? It'll be the same old bullshit the other six days a week. He wants to keep these shits in no matter how irate it makes the players. Nowhere in the article says it's going to be an open test with Gears players. It may as well be him and his buddies huddled around a 360 deciding the fate of the game.
